About Company
MALUME UPHOLSTERY
"At the heart of our company is a deep-rooted love for all things furniture."
Malume Upholstery Services is a working upholstery shop in Silvertown, Cape Town. We strip furniture back to the frame, repair what is broken underneath, and recover it in the fabric or leather you choose — and we build new pieces to order when a frame is past saving.
For a decade we have worked on lounge suites, dining chairs, headboards and ottomans for homes across Cape Town, and the workshop door is open six days a week if you would rather see the work in person.
How it works
- Send a photo. WhatsApp or the quote form — tell us what the piece is and what it needs.
- Get a written price. Fabric, foam, frame work and transport, itemised before we start.
- We collect. Free within 20 km of Silvertown; further afield quoted upfront.
- The workshop does its work. Stripped back, frame and springs checked, new foam, new cover.
- We deliver it back and you see it before you settle up.
What you can expect
